Pet Cancer
Though your veterinarian may offer no hope for cancer recovery, healing your
pet's cancer is possible. You'll want to learn everything as fast as you can
before difficult, irreversible decisions are made. I teach you how to work with
your vet who will take care of your pet's medical needs. But you'll have real,
natural solutions for your pet's cancer in hand. You'll learn about food and
supplements, detoxification and energy healing. You'll have a support system in
place that will cause no harm and offer cancer solutions that work. You'll have
hope, as long as you have time.
What Causes Cancer in Pets?It may come as no
surprise to you that pet cancer is caused by the same influences that cause
cancer in people; toxins, poor diet and nutrition, a poor immune system,
exposure to radiation and even stress. However, in pets we see a much higher
level of toxicity, much worse nutrition, much greater exposure to chemicals in
the home and outside and greater sensitivities to medications and flea
treatments, vaccinations, and commercially prepared foods. In fact, the pet
cancer rate is increasing and appearing in younger pets at an alarming rate. In
a study from the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Center in 2008, “dogs have
much higher rates of many kinds of cancer than do people, including 35 times
more skin cancer, 4 times more breast tumors, 8 times more bone cancer, and
twice the incidence of leukemia.” Cancer is the leading cause of death in
dogs.
Curing Pet CancerWhen it comes to your beloved
dog or cat, you'll do anything and everything to make your pet's cancer go
away. However, knowing a few simple tips will not only help make your choices
easier, but help you feel empowered that you are doing everything you can to
help cure your pet's cancer, cause no harm and have hope for recovery.
1. Act Quickly
Once there is a diagnosis of cancer you may feel overwhelmed and emotionally unprepared. Time spent online researching pet cancer, natural healing and supplements to fight pet cancer may have led you here, but there may be no time to waste. While you wait to decide what to do, your pet's cancer is progressing. Call me right away to discuss your options. If natural healing is what you want for your pet's cancer, I am here to help in every way possible to offer a holistic approach for your pet.
2. Get Support
Find a vet you love and trust and who will work with you to support your
choices. Not every vet is open to natural healing, nor do they understand or
even know about it. If they offer no hope, well, that's why you're here. You
want something more than what your vet offers. But, keep in touch with your vet
for lab work and medical support to monitor your pet's progress and offer
emergency services.
3. Trust YourselfDecide for yourself what makes
sense to you. Medical therapies (surgery, radiation and chemotherapy) have a
very different approach to cancer than natural cancer therapies. Sometimes a
combination of modern and natural cancer therapies is what you really need, but
it can be confusing to sort through your options. However, if your dog or cat
is very ill, very sensitive or old, medical treatment might be too harsh.
Chemotherapy side-effects can damage the kidneys, weaken the immune system,
cause nausea, weakness, and even death. Anesthesia can be too much to bear.
Some natural therapies and supplements are ineffective unless you know which
ones to use.
4. Change the Way You Look at Things
You may have been used to doing things a certain way, feeding your dog food from a can or a bag, using chemicals in your home and on your dog, etc. These are only the beginning but the list will become obvious once you understand why food and chemicals really matter when helping your dog fight cancer. Become a detective in your home. Look for possible sources of toxins and contaminants, read product labels and become aware of harmful chemicals. Stop further vaccinations and flea treatments. Avoid pesticides and fertilizers. Get rid of fragrances. Prepare home-made meals. Do this for every dog, cat or person in your family, including yourself.
5.The Body is a Miracle
Give the body what it needs to heal. For your pet that may mean better nutrition and supplements and effective detoxification. Cancer-fighting supplements are different from what you might find on the pet store shelf. Immune system support means that you are giving your pet the best specific nutrients to build healthy blood cells, healthy bone, healthy gut, liver and kidneys.
6. Get Well Together
Include your whole family in good health, not just your pet and not just one pet. The warning signs were there, but you may not have recognized them. The cancer-causing toxins were there, but may have been hidden in food or on the sidewalk of your neighbor's yard as you walked by. One family member may have cancer. It's up to everyone to learn what they can do now to prevent cancer for the rest of the family, practice healthy habits and act aggressively and quickly toward helping the body heal.
7. Have a Positive Attitude
Your pet knows when you are confused and upset, but may not understand why. Visualize the message to your pet that you are confident and your love is unwavering. Always act with love and kindness. Tears don't serve your pet's well-being. Instead, create a positive outlook that healing is happening.
8. Ask me for help
Call or email now. I've been there too. Let me help.
